Lucas joined RTG Law Group in May 2024 as a temporary articled student for the summer 2024 session. In a short time, he has become an important contributor to the mission of RTG Law and has provided much support to our team.
Lucas grew up in Vancouver and attended Brentwood College, going on to the University of Western Ontario for his undergraduate studies.  He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts Major in Political Science.  He then attended Thompson Rivers Law School in Kamloops, where he is entering his 3rd year of studies.  He will be graduating in 2025.
Whistler is a second home for Lucas and feels extremely happy snowboarding in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.  While attending law school, Lucas founded “Solicitors on Slopes” Ski and Snowboard Club.
Lucas was an active member of the Criminal Law Club and the Oral Advocacy Club, where he was able to sharpen his advocacy skills through participation in moot court and mock hearings.
Lucas will be returning to school in September 2024 and is excited to travel to Université Catholique de Lyon in France.  There, he will participate in an academic exchange for the first term of his third year. He hopes to improve his French, gain an understanding of European Law, and travel to the international Court of Justice in the Hague.
